Lovejoy

Comet Lovejoy is passing by this week. A snazzy picture was snapped by astrophotographer Justin Ng out in Singapore.

If it were only red then we'd thing it was marking the return of the House whatever the heck in Game of Thrones (I can't remember now) or the dragons. But if it did they would all be killed anyway.

The comet makes its closest pass to earth on the 7th of January, which is tomorrow. It should be thundering through the southwestern skies and visible with binoculars or a telescope.
