John Carter Movie

I had heard rumors from the Burroughs folks that license for the John Carter material was coming back to them, and now we have confirmation that it has. Which is good, the movie (a fantastic film and a nice capture for the iconic hero) did not do as well as its budget required and there was risk that Disney would sit on the franchise for later. But they have not, they have given it back to Burroughs Inc and that noble crew has begun looking for a new movie house.

With a Tarzan movie in the works at Warner Bros. maybe they'll be able to find the right organization to do the film and make it all happen again!

Trollzah!
