Japan Enters the Mix

After Rosetta successfully landed a probe on a comet the Japanese announced a similar probe carrying one of their own ships to land a probe on an asteroid and bring back samples. The hope is of course to find something worth mining or even better, to find something that can help colonists and travelers resupply on destinations unknown.

Hayabusa 2 is scheduled to arrive at the target in 2018 and have samples back here by 2020.
