Incoming

This Sunday we'll see a house-sized boulder fly by Earth, passing closer than some satellites…but since some satellites are floating around Jupiter that's really a vague statement. It'll be about 20,000 miles above your stove top as it passes over.

The interesting thing is that the asteroid was only discovered on August 31, which of course means we don't know as much as we thought we did, or do. We could get hit at any moment.

There's hope yet for the apocalypse!

Don't worry. A Russian or Indian "weather satellite" will take care of it if it gets frisky :P
