Unfunded Kickstarter Gets the Hammer

This is good news. Washington state has filed suite against Altius Entertainment for an unfunded Kickstarter. The KS raised 25k and had some 800 backers and never delivered. There were 31 people from Washington that had pledged. 

This is really nice to hear. If more people get hammered by states for fraud on the crowdfunding platform, less people will poison the pool by putting up fraudulent KS. Its a problem with this platform as publishing (and any business endeavor) is a complicated process with many moving parts. Making the risk even riskier makes the whole thing a bit safer.
