Macbeth to the Big Screen

Film4, a production company for those, like me, who didn't know what Film4 was/is/might be, has begun to assemble the parts for a Macbeth adaption on the big screen. Its been awhile since we've seen the old playwright hit the silver screen. The last time that I can remember, at least on this side of the pond, was Mel Gibson's Hamlet (great film by the by).

Filming starts in January 2014 and the film stars Marion Cottillard, Michael Fassbinder and perhaps Natalie Portman.

Hopefully it will be as good as Hamlet . . . .
