Word of the Day -- Comestible

Those fans of Monty Python will surely recognize this word from the Cheese Shop sketch.  "...Cheesy comestibles."

Comestible simply means edible.  Did you expect "comestible" to be a noun meaning "food"? You're probably not alone. As it happens, "comestible" is used both as an adjective and a noun. The adjective is by far the older of the two; it has been part of English since at least the 1400s. (In fact, one of its earliest known uses was in a text printed in 1483 by William Caxton, the man who established England's first printing press.) The noun (which is most often used in the plural form, "comestibles") dates only from 1837. It made its first appearance in a novel in which a character fortified himself with "a strong reinforcement of comestibles."

Information that informs the public and makes them good citizens is the kind of quality information that one can be proud to call news, and if it ever goes completely out of style, may the Lord
help us, for it will be the end of civilization as
we know it. Office goers and people who are travelling
often do not get time to read news from the newspaper or watch it
to get good information they could subscribe for sports
SMS alerts. All kinds of sports news today are offered live through the
television.

They do not insert secret or additional advertising in our material.
For example, we often do some driving trains to encourage the students to speak a few numbers in turn.
Use old fabric to create puppets, monsters, and any other creatures that your child can imagine.

You need to flex those muscles regularly to keep them strong
and resilient. Naturally, if you are not a morning person, setting your alarm for 5am to go
run a few miles will probably fail. Most of us love it;
going to Mac - Donald or Burger King from time to time.
