The Future is Now

One of the great conveniences of the modern world is the battery. It allows us carry energy almost anywhere. Down the hall, into the yard, out in the woods, into the mountains, in the sky, in space, under water . . . well you get the idea.

And on of the great inconveniences of the modern world is the battery. It makes us think that we can take energy anywhere. Down the hall, into the yard, out in the woods, into the mountains, in the sky, in space, under water . . . well you get the idea.

They are forever running out of power (like last night at Barnes and Noble in my truck, or when Mark and I were spelunking about a quarter of a mile underground and my flash light died) or worse they lose enough energy to dim a bit and you replace them with new ones and in short order you have 74,658 half spent batteries laying around the house.

Well maybe, just maybe we have a solution in the future. (sent to me by Breakdaddy!)
