Some Previews

Someone brought up one of the most redundant themes in fantasy/sci fi; the concept that humans are inferior to another species, that homo-sapiens aren't quite evolved yet, that we are food, ignorant, etc etc.

NOTICE: I'm going to gripe a bit, for reasons you can see below, but it ends well. So skip the griping for the last trailer if you are inclined.

Its old hat really.

"Yes. yes. Got it. We're inferior to vulcans, or elves, or the seers, or whatever." Got it.

Man is the bad guy. The reckless one.

So this trailer for Oblivion raises the "oh yeah" radar. It seems that earth has been destroyed by an invading species…or so the histories tell us. But Tom Cruise will discover, or at least our moral-movie compass Morgan Freeman will tell him/us…that what he thought was true, is a lie, that something else happened.

I hope its not some man-induced global catastrophe where we proved to foolish to live . . . that would be original.

Please, if you know this isn't Wall-E live action, let me know.

Here's another one. This one has the earth defending itself against us because we are meanie pants.

Something original. Please, something original. An original movie…

WAIT, here's one. Now this looks BAD ASS.  A fantasy movie with all the extraordinary cuts that such epics from overseas bring us…From Hero to House of Flying Daggers.
