Its Curtains for Us

It would seem that the rate of star formation in our little neck of the multiverse is petering out. Star formation in the universe reached a peak around 11 billion years ago; it has been dwindling ever since now only about 3% of its peak. Astronomers aren't certain why star formation is coming to a close.

It probably has something to do with the universe has spent its energy from the big bang, all that energy contained in a pin drop exploding out has reached its blast range. It'll now begin drifting out and into the Void and the rest collapsing back in on itself.
