WTF?

I'm really not sure whether I should laugh or cry. The Dpt. of Homeland Security and the Center for Disease Control has spent resources to help us plan for the Zombie Apolcolypse.

Read on brave adventurer, or check the CDC out.

Yeah, that's been up there for a while. It was part of an awareness drive, from what I recall, so while on it's face it may seem ludicrous it serves a real purpose. Knowing how, and being prepared for, a zombie apocalypse helps to make you ready fro a real one... and people are more likely to read an article talking about zombies so the info gets out there.

What IA said. People zone out when you talk about disaster preparedness, but they'll perk up for zombies. And if you're ready for zombies, your also ready for earthquakes, tornadoes, and hurricanes.

You should cry, when folks are more willing to prepare for a zombie apocalypse than a real world earthquake, hurricane or tornado!
