Germania

Whenever I think of the Roman Empire, somewhere, lurking upon the edge of my conscious thought are the dark forests of Germany. In Gaul and Italia the Romans lived in relative peace, farming, building, trading goods and doing all those things that all people have always done since we threw up the first mud-brick wall.

Bur across the Rhine, in Germany, the dark forests loomed. Here giants stalked the wooded paths, with huge axes, swords and bear cloak armors! They were wild and free and paid heed to pagan gods, both volatile and fearless.

These were the folk the Romans feared...and the Romans were the most powerful of all the ancients.

Coming soon to Kickstarter....The Codex Germania.
