3000 Tons and Growing

That's what they estimate is floating around our planet from all the debris we've sent up there. All the crap left over from sending satellites up yonder way. In the space of a few years it will be a crap-ton more as they say. It will be like those Pacfic Gyros.

So NASA is concocting a plan to shoot the stuff down with lasers mounted on the International Space Station.

That could be fun.

Of course we could just leave it up there, make avenues through it with giant magnates and then use the garbage as a defensive shield against income aliens. Their ships would get pummeled with the stuff!


Ahhh plastic. Such a wonderful invention.
