Asgard Reopens

Its made all the news this week, Iceland has opened its first temple dedicated to the Norse Gods since the last of them vanished over a thousand  years ago. This is largely because a growing number of Icelanders are taking up the philosophy of Ásatrúarfélagið. This is basically using the Norse legends as parables and tales on how to behave and how to see the world. As world religions go, its not a bad one as its pretty much live and let live (even stories of human sacrifices are not really confirmed by the historical record).

This is all very cool in and of itself, but what would be really cool is if they built space ships and began plundering the cosmos!

Now that would be cool!
