Curiosity Update

Just a quick update on Curiosity. He is gearing up for a push toward Mount Sharp several miles away. He will make at least three stops before leaving the shallow area he is in, one being Point Lake (see photo below). After that the trek will be slow and deliberate, the journey taking several months. In route the rover will investigate anything that looks interesting.

The driving is done remotely and is not as easy as programing the destination in and going full on, but rather through stops and starts, avoiding pit falls, crevices, sharp inclines and the like.
