5000 Years Ago

Someone carved words into stone; we still can't figure out what it says. But hopefully not for long. The proto-elamite script was used about 2900-3200 BC in south-west Iran. Recent scholars think the script may contain many mistakes...due to the lack of a professional guide...and this could be the reason that we have not been able to decipher.

There is a great deal of speculation and little actually known about these folks.

Interesting article, but seems to leave out a bit.
