You can go ...I think you misunderstand the problem. You can go days without filling your car, but not even that long without water. Now compare how much water is per gallon vs. gasoline/oil per gallon. Water is significantly cheaper, for now. Now imagine a world where water rises in price to match what we pay for oil, especially if some of the things (massive infrastructure costs) you mentioned are used to move water to drought-stricken places. It is not a stretch considering the relative scarcity of potable water--which is what we are really talking about here. And we have not even touched on the disruptive mass migrations that are going to happen b/c of water scarcity. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
