Archeologists digging in Jerusalem opened a wall to find a sunken pit and stair. Following the stair they unearthed a 2000 year old bat with a small alcove attached to it. On the walls of the bath were scribbled some graffiti in Aramaic. However as soon as the light and air hit the graffiti it began to dissolve. They sealed up the room quickly with plaster hoping to preserve the scribbles as it is very rare...for obvious reasons...for such graffiti to survive.
Its pretty cool to thing that 2000 years ago someone was sprawled out on the bench, sweating off the impurities of the bodies elixirs and thought to scribble some mess on the wall. And there it remained...long after their death, decay and vanishing from the historical records.
The words "served" and "Cohen" were on readily noticed.
