Headed to Pluto

New Horizons is entering its final run toward Pluto. She has been oriented to the dwarf planet and will begin harvesting data now. She should pass over around July 14 of this year. This will be the first, close up look at our friendly neighbor.

Its a world locked in frozen ice, that hangs on the edge of our planetary solar system, between the outer planets and the Kuiper Belt. NH has been flying 36,000 miles per hour, for 9 years and will pass within 6000 miles of Pluto at her nearest approach. That's when we'll get the really good stuff.

Read on.

Like as not, they will discover the truth of the Naga....
